Victoria Grempel
Victoria Grempel, a native of Wantagh, New York, is fourth-year dance student at The Juilliard School. Highly trained in both classical and contemporary techniques, she has performed works by Twyla Tharp, Merce Cunningham, Brian Brooks, and George Balanchine, among others. Victoria has performed with the Brian Brooks Moving Company at New York City Center’s Fall For Dance, as well as in Kate Weare’s residency at BAM Fisher Hall. In past summers, Victoria has participated in the Merce Cunningham Trust’s Fellowship Workshop, Movement Invention Project, American Ballet Theatre’s New York Intensive, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Also passionate about arts administration, a work-study position was created for her as a Special Assistant in the Office of Juilliard’s President. Victoria was a featured dancer in season 6 of the web-based reality series “Dance 212.” A graduate of the Professional Children’s School in New York City, she trained at The School at Steps on full scholarship from 2009-2012.
